A simple little project from a while back involving some rough muslin, felt & plenty of hand stitching. Makes for a sweet little spot to store a lost tooth overnight & wake up to a nice suprise in the morning...

summer can't be over...

Some photos from a beach trip a month or two ago...this little number came together using a cute little pair of shorts found at Marshalls and a stained blue tshirt we had in the closet. I wanted to find a use for this fabric I love, so here's what came about after a bit of hand-stitching....

large car mats...

A few more felt car mats this week...these were a custom order for a set of brothers. The mats were larger this time, measuring 3 or 4 feet square. These mats are completely hand-stitched and hand cut, making each one unique. I added a beach to this one (just in case the boys had some boats that needed a spot to go) and a forest on the other one near a lake. Hopefully these will see hours of playtime and will give those boys' mama some much deserved time alone...
