a bit more felt

Yes, this post is once again centered around felt- I can't help it- the stuff has 1,000+ uses! I assure you, someday I'll post about something different...
but for now, here's a few more felt flowers attached to little girl headbands with both new & vintage buttons. Love 'em.

You have to teach me how you did this! I have been trying to work w/ the polyester felt and it stretches when I try to cut it....makes me crazy! I read on a blog about using woolen felt but I'm not sure where to get it or how expensive it is. Suggestions?

not quite sure why it's stretching. are you using a good scissors??? i have no clue. You can get the wool felt in a few colors at JoAnns. It is around $9.99- 14.99 a yard. The good thing is, you don't have to use much (1/4 to 1/2 a yard will get you far). Use a 40% off coupon & it's not that bad.

Thanks, I'll try the woolen felt. I was actually trying the poly-felt on my cricut too but that was a no go. I could use some good scissors so I'll do that too!
